16′ Electric Canoe

Length-16′   Beam– 32″    Weight-

Lots of people paddle around the marshes and shallows of our area but our frequently thwarted by the tides or the wind. This nifty canoe quickly overcomes those challenges. Concealed behind the rear seat is an 80 lb thrust Minnkota trolling motor and the battery mounts under the front seat. The motor pushes this along at a very good clip and the controls are the handle lever and knob just in front of the rear seat. The motor can be retracted vertically which allows for travel in very shallow water and for sliding the boat into a pickup truck.

I replicated the carvings from photos I found of larger sailing vessels in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam. The figues and the rub rails and stems are cut from sepele and the planking is okoume marine plywood.

It is being sold complete with a custom double ended paddle (kayak style) and a 12 Volt battery, used.
